Good Sleep is Not a Luxury: It is a Necessity !!!

In today’s busy world, sleep is often sacrificed for work, studies, social media, or entertainment. Many people proudly claim they can survive on just 4–5 hours of sleep. However, the brain does not see sleep as optional.

During sleep, the brain performs important restorative functions:

  • Processes emotions
  • Stores memories
  • Repairs neural pathways
  • Regulates stress hormones
  • Restores energy levels

When sleep becomes irregular or insufficient, emotional regulation becomes difficult. People may become more anxious, emotionally reactive, forgetful, and mentally exhausted.
